Hello friends! I am so behind on blog posts! Here's a quick 2021 update...
Well it's been quite a year (it's not even over) and here we are! I made it through the pandemic, taught some online classes, participated in online shows, and enjoyed some wonderful live outdoor social distanced shows in people yards, driveways, gardens, etc.!
I even helped create and organize and online miniature crankie festival and won a Baker Artist Award this year (yay)! Wow writing this is helping me realize that I actually did get some things done this year!

Recently, we've been doing some outdoor shows again now that the weather has cooled off. Dan Van Allen and I will premier my new crankie this weekend; actually our first indoor show this Saturday September 18 at Le Mondo in Baltimore City! It's a benefit show with Rumput (amazing gamelan and shadow puppet crankie artists) for artists in Bali who have really taken a hit during the pandemic. Tickets online and at lemondo.org. Masks required. Hope you can make it!
